Please support RiverWitch Kayak Rentals & Tours in preserving the river, its surroundings, and local wildlife by adhering to the following rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to these rules and regulations may result in you being removed from the tour and the property with no refund.
- No alcoholic beverages or illegal narcotics allowed on our tours. Coolers, bags and dry compartments may be inspected before launching.
- Children under the age of 6 must be paired with an adult at all times. They are not permitted to pilot vessels on their own.
- No speakers, or radios of any kind is allowed on tours. Everyone must be able to hear and comply with any instruction provided by your tour guide at all times.
- Leave no trace. Take all trash and any trash you may find along the way back with you and dispose of properly. Please help us keep the river clean and beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
- Please respect the environment, wildlife, other paddlers, and the staff during your visit. Rude or obnoxious behavior, foul or abusive language, fighting or any other behavior that may be offensive or a nuisance will result in immediate removal from the tour and/or property without refund.
- Swim at your own risk (we’ve seen sharks and alligators).
- Take as many pictures and videos as you want, but please do not feed or touch the wildlife. In many cases this is illegal and can result in heavy fines and/or imprisonment.
- Do not land on any private property, docks, or yards. Disembarking on the islands is at your own risk (cactus spines are not easy to remove).
- No motorized vessels of any type allowed. Modification of any rental equipment is strictly prohibited and will result in fees being assessed.
- Returning to the dock later than 6PM will result in a late fee being assessed. Failure to return by 7PM will result in the Coast Guard being called to extract you. You are solely responsible for any fines imposed by the Coast Guard. They will not extract your rental equipment which will result in additional fees for recovery and/or replacement.
- No pets allowed on tours.
- One personal flotation device (PFD) and one whistle per person is required. PFDs and whistles are provided. Failure to return your PFD or any rental equipment (other than the whistle which is yours to keep) will result in fees being assessed.
