Hello, adventurers! My name is Ursula. I'm a Florida Naturalist and I'm thrilled to be your guide through the enchanting waters of Mosquito Lagoon, a sub-basin of the Indian River Lagoon System. As a proud 5th generation resident of Oak Hill, Florida, the lagoon is not just a place I explore; it’s my home. My roots run deep in these waters, and my journey here has shaped me into a devoted Florida coastal systems naturalist. My love for Mosquito Lagoon goes beyond its scenic beauty. It’s about the connection to the land and water and the myriad of life it supports. As your guide, I aim to offer more than just a tour; I strive to provide a gateway to understanding the delicate balance of our coastal systems and the importance of preserving it for generations to come.
