Reservations cancelled 48 hours or more before a scheduled trip will receive a full refund minus a small cancellation fee.

No-shows, late arrivals resulting in a missed launch, and reservations cancelled within 48 hours of tour departure will be charged full price. If you are late and not at the meeting point by the time of your tour, RiverWitch Kayak Rentals & Tours reserves the right to sell your seat, without refund, to other ready, willing, and able patrons. We recommend that you try to make it to the tour departure site at least 15 minutes before the tour.

Cancellations will not be accepted via email. Please confirm your change in plans by phone. Email is unreliable.

We do our best to run our tours as promised, but there may be times when we have to cancel them due to inclement weather. We will do our very best to contact each patron in advance if a tour is to be cancelled prior to launch. In this case the following applies, and each patron is responsible to contact the office to make arrangements.

• Reschedule the same trip on a future date (at no cost)
• Or receive a full refund

We attempt in all cases to determine prior to your tour launch if weather will impede your trip. However, there are rare occasions where we have launched and weather patterns change suddenly at which time we must return to shore. In this case the following applies, and each patron is responsible to contact the office to make arrangements. Note that a tour is considered completed if at least half of the tour time was spent on the water before returning to shore due to weather.

• Or receive a 50% refund

There are times when we have to delay our tours due to inclement weather. Here is what to expect if there is inclement weather when you arrive for your tour:

Tours may be delayed past initial launch time. Please be prepared to wait. Guests who leave before this will not be rebooked or issued a raincheck.

We will wait 30 minutes past a lightning strike within 10 miles. If the weather is still inclement beyond light rain, then the tour may be cancelled and each patron may either reschedule with a future trip or receive a full refund
